When Golden(brown) Meet Green


Golden brown and green are referring to same item but in different color.
since young, I always like green Kaya. It is self preference. I do not why but in my mind, green Kaya taste better and it is not easy to get them which make it “special” to have green Kaya. Over the counter, I always look for the green Kaya. but it seems like it is hidden somewhere.  It is not a discrimination as I still eat golden Kaya.  just like to have green Kaya if I can find it.
to some extend, I always have green Kaya when I go to Singapore and stay with my aunty/uncles. they always have green kaya for the breakfast.  Is this some sort of “privilege” to have green kaya? I am sure it is not, but human are complex and psychologically, it make me feel good to have Green kaya.  I guess it is memory that playing trick to me that green kaya taste better than brown kaya. It is true, green kaya is tastier and smelly nicer (due to extra pandan).

Golden as in money. Green as in environment.  How to balance between money and environment? It is a question. Simple and yet complex for human. To protect environment totally, it costs money? To earn money, do something related with Environment. But trust me, whatever is it, environment business is not really environment friendly. It costs more and less impact to environment only. People enrolls for electronic paper. But servers that provide the service is “friendly” to environment? we do not know unless we know “how” servers is set up.  Well, to make it simple, what you do not see does not mean it does not exist.
Green or golden? You decide it.
